Magnetic Field Simulation software (MFS5) is the fifth generation of a versatile and highly flexible simulation framework for the simulation of magnetic fields. The project has been started in 2010 at the University of Würzburg with a Diploma thesis on Magnetic Particle Imaging.
The software is written in the programming language Delphi (Embarcadero, USA). Using the built-in 3D renderer provided by Embarcadero since Delphi XE as well as the cross-compiler, the software is highly flexible and optimized for intuitive and fast development of arbitrary coil assemblies and the visualization of dynamic magnetic fields.
This is not only intersting for educational purpose but also for research especially in the field of Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI).
For more information, a first introduction in the software structure is provided here.
